Happy Halloween to all you celebrants of the quasi-holiday. Sadly, a huge chunk of the U.S. population won’t be trick-or-treating today due to Hurricane Sandy. Word is observations are being post-poned in places like Hoboken, New Jersey until the roads are clear of water, downed power lines, debris and other dangerous conditions. A wise move, but a bummer for the kids.

In today’s installment, the grownups have doffed their hats with respect for rules of dining etiquette, which is why Mr. Guzek and Ma Pig appear bareheaded in the dining scene above. In truth, they prefer hats, being self-conscious of their bare domes (Liz, a hair stylist, gets away with keeping her wig), but by gum, they are civilized animals. Standards must be upheld.

Did you notice the Guzek residence no longer looks like a barn? Either they moved or the artist forgot to refer to his previous drawings of their home. Well, the old place was getting cramped, anyway.
