A tad late today. Other work and freelance commitments pulled me away from the drawing table. Also, these kids. I got kids. They want my fatherly dotage. But here it is, another installment in the romantic life of Ma Pig. Bet you didn’t think this strip about a runaway pig would have so many layers – layers! – of character development. Actually, I try to put in some; the characters grow a bit. But I don’t think I have radically changed them. Sheldon talks. That’s the biggest transformation so far. Chloe is more Action Girl than when she started – you would, too (or Action Boy, gender depending) – if you were stranded on an deserted island.
Well, maybe another big change in Sheldon is this sudden thirst for blood. I think he’s just getting carried away. Chloe is kicking his butt. Tune in next week for a display of Warthog’s conflict management skills.

bet Ma Pig is starting to wish for picture-speaking Sheldon about now

Seriously, I just got curious and (having WAY too much time on my hands read through the whole series, start to finish. All of them. A lot I’d forgotten about for sure and some really excellent stuff I must say. But, IMO the best and most fascinating are these last ‘loose ends’. I say most fascinating because what they DON’T say offers at least as much as what they DO say.
And Warthog remains my favorite character. Him and the bears. And that Corgy that keeps showing up
