These animals are so stuck in old media. Someone give Liz an iPad or something.
BTW, credit where it is due: Ma Pig’s summer dress pattern lifted straight from Shizoo Patterns.

Fox in last panel’s expression is terrific! Intentional or not, the moral about how holding a delusional, prejudiced grudge makes one the most (only) miserable person in a happy world is marvelously to the point. Love it!
Plus, I’m conceited enough to re-declare that I ‘called’ Warthog and Ma Pig waaaaay back there!

Sadly, that’s supposed to be a corgi, but I gave him a tale, so now he looks like a fox. That’s what I get for rushing things.
Even in our unhappy world, there are a lot of people made miserable needlessly by their prejudices and delusions. That wasn’t my intended moral, but definitely a guideline in how I rendered poor Dr. Knott’s fate. Admittedly, I just think it’s funny that a psychologist would become increasingly unhinged that way.
Warthog could use some stability in his life, and Ma Pig could use someone who is generous and attentive. Someone elsewhere asked what became of Pa Pig. I answered that last we saw of him, he was in a dark apartment, still flubbing his son’s name. I might just leave him there. I have imagined other scenarios, but, in theory, this is supposed to be a kid-friendly comic. I’ll leave the denouement hanging.
well, you know, everything is better with bacon
