Whew. Here it is. The heat wave finally caught up with us here in Portland. And we discovered black mold growing in the walls of my drawing studio, so I have been drawing in my kitchen, where the AC is operating at half-speed.

A few notes on this page: First, do you see that tuft of hair on Warthog in the third panel? Yeah, he is supposed to always have that. But I sometimes forget to draw it — which is why everyone needs an editor. It will have to wait until the deluxe redux director’s cut special expanded edition that will eventually make its appearance on Kickstarter one of these days.

Another big thing: note the word “end” appears in the last panel. That means this story line is done, son! Wooo!

That also means I am taking the next couple weeks off. I am traveling across country to visit family, so I will be away from my drawing things. A new page – the start of a new storyline, which will in fact be the summation of the entire series – begins in August. Until then, take care. Enjoy the summer. Keep yourselves cool.
