Okay, here we are. Ran a bit late today, due to the three day weekend, which never really translates into more time to cartoon. Actually, less. But I had fun, anyway. Grilled some steaks and asparagus, blew my diet, enjoyed the company of friends.
A long time ago I had envisioned this scene much differently. A trucker picks up Sheldon, hitch-hiking his way across the U.S.A. They sing songs like “Turkey in the Straw.” And the trucker skips a diner that promotes its piles of bacon with every two egg order. It was all nice and sweet. Somehow it turned into this dark and twisted scene you see above you. But I like it.
this IS a cool sequence. Great warning and equally entertaining. Good writing, particularly the way the question about turning themselves in brackets the whole affair.
